A native New Yorker and former Broadway performer, Cathy traded chorus lines for the world of improvisational music. Whether she's adding harmonies, stepping into a lead vocal, or dancing along to the groove, she brings energy, soul, and theatrical flair to every performance. She especially loves the way live harmonies blend into the spontaneity of a jam.
Dave likes long, intimate walks in the woods with Slama while contemplating tasty bass lines and legendary jams. Dave's favorite food is sea bass because it's spelled the same as his favorite instrument. Rising out of the NYC concrete jungle, Dave clawed and fought his way to the top of the music scene that only existed in his brain. Dave saw the Grateful Dead 174 times and hopes you like Phunk & Roses.

After moving to New York City, he found his place behind the keys in bands that balance deep grooves with open-ended exploration. Whether on vintage organ, piano, or synth, he brings warm, soulful textures and a creative touch that helps push the music somewhere fresh each night.
